About Us

The Big Country Youth Agriculture Foundation is a non-profit organized to support the youth of the Big Country who are involved in agriculture and help promote agricultural education.

What We Do

The Big Country Youth Agriculture Foundation was established to help raise funds for the youth who exhibit animals at the Taylor County Livestock Show.  Students spend months selecting, training and feeding their animals in preparation for the county show.  At the conclusion of the show, a percentage of the animals make the sale, where youth are rewarded for their hard work and prize-winning animals.

Join the Cause

4-H and FFA brings youth and adults together to learn everyday skills with hands-on learning. Raising livestock teaches these youth problem-solving skills that make a positive impact upon their community. 4-H and FFA helps youth meet the diverse challenges of today’s world, build self-confidence, learn responsibility, and make positive decisions.  When you donate, you provide the opportunity for our organization to financially support many students within our community.
