About Us
The Big Country Youth Agriculture Foundation is a non-profit organized to support the youth of the Big Country who are involved in agriculture and help promote agricultural education.
What We Do
The Big Country Youth Agriculture Foundation was established to help raise funds for the youth who exhibit animals at the Taylor County Livestock Show. Students spend months selecting, training and feeding their animals in preparation for the county show. At the conclusion of the show, a percentage of the animals make the sale, where youth are rewarded for their hard work and prize-winning animals.
Who We Are
We are a group of community leaders, parents and volunteers dedicated to investing in the future generation of agriculturalist. Agribusiness contributes one billon dollars to the Big Country annually and is a vital part of our community.
